Had a boss stay in this older hotel, la! The food was spot on, especially the dinner, and the staff couldn’t do enough for us. Just a shame there weren't many plug sockets for me gadgets, though!

I had a delightful stay at Richmond Arms Hotel where I appreciated the warm welcome from the staff. My room was spacious and comfortable, and I thoroughly enjoyed the breakfast, which featured excellent choices, including a delightful vegetarian option.

The location provides a lovely outlook, and the room had a good size with plenty of tea, coffee, and biscuits provided. The internet reception was solid throughout my stay, which was a bonus for catching up on some messages.

The hotel is in desperate need of a facelift. the decor feels dated, and the bathrooms could definitely use an upgrade. For instance, the shower had minimal water pressure, and the shower curtain appeared stained. I also had issues with the room door that wouldn't lock properly and found the overall upkeep lacking, including a chair with broken surfaces and a breakfast that got repetitive.

We had a lovely time staying here, enjoying the beautiful surroundings and the hearty breakfast that exceeded expectations. The bar is cozy, and my family appreciated the extensive whisky menu while we relaxed after hiking in the scenic area. Plus, it was great to find a pet-friendly place.
